Big soft spot in the middle of runway 29 mid field.

The grass is very green and the lawn is tall, but the runway is VERY bumpy. Landing was very 'Chunky". Even the big tires had a hard time.

The wet winter definitely made a mess of the sides of the runway but as of today, everything has dried out fairly well. The runway itself is plenty dry and will carry the weight of an airplane. The grass is very tall and is very "dewy" in the mornings. The shoulders of the runway where you turn off are still a little soft, but not muddy. Keep your speed up when rolling off the runway and don't pivot on a tire and you should be fine.

The grass runway is in generally OK condition following heavy rains, but the sides of the runway are EXTREMELY soft. The area south of the runway in front of the legacy hangars is very soft and a 182 with 6.00-6 size tires sunk deep enough into the soft dirt that we had to pull it out with a tug. There was also a long standing puddle on the north side of the runway near the large boulders at the drive way intersection. Se careful of this area. Be careful exiting the runway.

The grass runway is closed for unknown reasons. There is no NOTAM for its closure.

The grass runway is looking a little sad. The runway itself is quite bumpy and wavy following the Fathers Day Fly-In where the runway was used as a parking lot. Many trash items have been discovered on the runway and there are many dry patches. About 2/3 down the runway there are some dark green spots that are believe do be sprinkler leaks. This area is fairly spot but the soft spots are located to either side of the centerline. There is a irrigation service hole that is missing a cover on the south side in this area. The dirt areas either side of the runway have a lot of star thistle. These have gone through two tires and tubes that I'm aware of so far this summer.
