Red Hills Annual Fly-In is over the Memorial Day Weekend. Planes begin arriving on Friday. We generally have a flyout breakfast on Saturday morning, a spot landing contest, a balloon bombing contest, a potluck dinner on Saturday evening and a Sunday breakfast hosted by Jack & Myrna. Red Hills Airstrip is a privately owned, unimproved and uncharted airstrip near Jamestown, CA. All pilots must view the Safety briefing and sign the Liability Waiver prior to landing at Red Hills.
Local Aviation Author Book Talk April 30 2022 11AM-12:30PM
LOCAL AVIATION AUTHORS are speaking at the Sonora Library and are available to speak at one of your TCAA meetings. Two Pine Mountain Lake Airport (E45) based pilots published in 2021. They are doing an author talk on Saturday April 30th 11:00 - 12:30 at the Sonora Library, 480 Greenley Road, Sonora. We welcome any TCAA members that want to venture over to listen and meet them. Their books are available for checkout at all four of the Tuolumne County Libraries and on Amazon. The book talk is free, doesn't require registration, a flyer is attached, and for questions contact Janet Gregory.
