Fly-In Campground
Columbia Airport offers a wonderful Fly-In campground which is a popular destination for aircraft organizations to hold annual fly-ins for their members and guests. Click here for a schedule of upcoming events. You can pitch your tent in one of 20 campsites that include picnic tables and barbecues, or you can camp right under the wing of your airplane. The Columbia Airport campsite is one of the best deals for camping anywhere with a modest fee of only $10 per night per aircraft which includes your overnight tie-down fee. The campground features flush toilets and hot showers in addition to fire rings, horse shoe pits and a volleyball court.
The campground pavilion features a full kitchen and dining hall and is available for your next group fly-in or special event for only $75/day. Please contact the Columbia Airport Office for availability, details and reservations. (209) 533-5685
Attractions
While visiting Columbia Airport, you can walk into the historic town of Columbia and experience life as it was during the Gold Rush days at Columbia State Park. There is a trail that starts behind the airport terminal building and ends at Parrotts Ferry Road which can be followed into Columbia. The total distance is less than a mile. Columbia offers several eating establishments, hotels, and entertainment. Visit the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau or the Columbia Chamber of Commerce for more information on Columbia.

Camping Resources:
Disc Golf
Frisbees for the Frisbee Golf Course are available and provided by TCAA. You can find a Box with Frisbees donated by TCAA Members and fly-in visitors.
Horse Shoe Pits:
Horse shoe pits are available for visitors. The TCAA has not yet sponsored or furnished horseshoes for the horseshoe pits.
Volley Ball Court:
There is a volleyball sand area with a net available for campground visitors. The TCAA has not yet sponsored or furnished a volley ball visitor use. Yet.
Bicycles
The TCAA is working to acquire some bicycles and a method to store and park bicycles for airport visitors to use to visit nearby attractions in the future! We are always looking for donations and sponsors for these projects!
Firewood:
The TCAA makes firewood available to campers with prior arrangements.
Ice:
Ice is available for purchase from bald Eagle Aviation. The also offer Ice cream and treats in their air conditioned FBO for those hot days! (209) 533-4616
